Make it from the Heart Monday

I'm blessed to have a wonderful creative place!!!!! My husband and I have a large barn that we share for our hobbies and family time.  The barn was a mess!!!!!

Now, how many people know someone who is an organizer extraordinaire, will I do and her name is Charla.   Charla  is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and she is also a crafter so she knows most of that stuff is totally necessary and the importance of that stash we all have.

So today I'm sharing a couple of picture of my space.  There has taken many hours but so worth it.

It is so nice for everything to have a place and Charla made all this possible. So my Make It From The Heart Monday post is in honor of Charla!!!!!!!

Well here is my Make It From The Heart Monday post. I've been using a lot Sangria, I'm loving those colors, just right for fall. This week I'm using Fallen Leaves again along with last month stamp special. I hate if you missed these 3 stamp sets.

I put a little twist on this Twinkle,  stamp set and turned the light bulbs into the flame for the candles. I used retired Fundamental paper but never fear there is Fundamental  new pattern paper which I'm going to love to play with.

I have renewed an old friendship with Wishes by Jeannette Lynton, is a wonder guide for this card. The original  card was "Simple Stripe", it was a 3 ½ x 2 ½ card so I just enlarged the dimensions to a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ and this is what I came up with.

I so enjoyed making this card, it was so simple and only take a few minutes and used scrapes and I used one of the CTMH Embossing folders, I know, that embossing was just calling my name and than distressed it just a little bit to show that wonderful white core cardstock.

Today I'm showcasing the stamp set Smiles Begin With You, was I think is so cute for a couple of reasons. One, I can color in the little flowers and second is I can fussy cute it. Yes, as you of my crafting friends, Terry knows, I do love to fussy cute. I chose to use the Fundamental Paper pack and then tied a little bit of Baker's Twine Neutral Metallic Assortment around the bottom. This was one of the easiest cards I have made lately but I think it is so cute and simple.

Gina K Changelle and Mojo Monday Design

I have said many times I'm not very creative but I copy well.  I visit blogs, website and receive many email each week and yesterday I received an email from Gina K Design about a challenge- Black, White and Red, which are 3 colors, I do love. And if the truth was known, those where my school colors so they are near and dear to my heart. So then I visited Mojo Monday, I know, I know it's was Tuesday but i didn't make it there Monday. So anyway I like going to the sketches by the year.

Something just clicked when I saw sketch # 384  and here is my creation with a little help from my friends Gina K Design and Mojo Monday.
