Many, many years ago a very lovely lady showed me how to "quill" in an art class but never owned a quilling tool until Close To My Heart put one in it's Fall/Winter 2012 Idea Book, So of course I had to order one. I must admit that I have not used this tool until I decided to join in this blog hop. After surfing the internet, I found a quilled cupcake that I have worked on trying to make for days. Up until the day before the blog hop is to by posted, I have yet to get the quilled cupcake right. With only hours before to post what should I do. So I make the simplest quilled heart I know of.
Now the saving grace with this was the new paper Chantilly (shhhhhh don't tell anyone, it's one of the new paper available February 1) This paper is so pretty, I really didn't have to do much, used the zip stripe, Gold Embossing Powder Z668 with Versamark® Ink Pad Z891, Baker's Twine Harvest Assortment Z1751, and used Ruby Cardstock X5927 as base and quilled hearts. The stamp set also in new, February Stamp on the Month "Home Sweet Home" that I used a masking technique.

This is just one of the 4 HUGH stamps in the SOTM.
