Double Stamping

Hopefully you have checked out Jeanette Lynton's blog & have seen all the great artwork, tips and so on, You would have read about "Double the Fun" on March 10.  It's giving a second coat of ink and what a difference it makes.

Look for your self & guess which one has the second coat.

New artwork from February Workshop

Here is some new artwork from the retreat I attended in February. Melissa Robinson, my ULs UL hosted the retreat and designed the layout below using CTMH's "Sophia". March 26th it the workshop at the barn for these, yes a total of 8 pages. Please RSVP by March 17 so supplies can be ordered. 8 page workshop cost is $45 and a 4 page workshop is $25. And yes there wll be cards, too.

Christmas a special day

Today we eat our Christmas Brunch with our children & grandchildren. There are items on the menu that are a must have. For my son George, it's quiche, and for my daughter, Mandy it's bubble bread. There are many other items on the menu and there is something for everybody.

But this time is much more than eating it's time to share the Christmas spirit with the family and reflect on how we have been so blessed.

I wish the best Christmas ever.

Merry Christmas

December 1 and winter is in the air of course in East Texas it will be warm again in a day or two but I love the crisp air and it puts me in the Christmas spirit. I'm a proud member of the First United Methodist Church, Rusk and the members have been given the pin saying "Merry Christmas" GOD with us""" One of my friends, is on a mission to put "Christ" back in Christmas.

So Merry Christmas to you.

Open House for the Autumn Winter 2010 CTMH

Really enjoyed my Open House yesterday---- lots of fun with lots of wonderful scrapbooking & cardmaking friends.

Here is one of the make & takes we did.....cute & easy. I do have to give credit to my upline, Joy McHargue who showed this techinque during our August Team Meeting.

This week I'm working on a stair step card using the CTMH October's Stamp of the Month "Share the Magic" for a swap I'm in.

My, my school has started and in the heart of East Texas we have had some much needed rain. I've been very busy making new artwork with some of the new products from Close to my Heart. My Open House is Sunday, September 12 and I want to make sure I have all my displays ready.

We have six new colors, four new paper kits and more than 20 new products.

It's been a busy summer, the grandkids are back in school so hopefully life will slow down a bit. LOL I've been working on displays for my Open House which is Sunday, September 12. A couple of ladies were at the barn yesterday & got a little sneck peck and tried thier best to get thier hands on the new Close To My Heart Idea Book that will be coming out September 1st. But to no avail.
