National Scrapbooking Month - Taste of Summer

Welcome to the Close To My Heart National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop. There are 37 Independent Consultants that will be sharing what they have created from the bright and fruity paper.
If you get lost along the way please visit Melinda’s Blog:  http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html for a complete list.

Now if you are coming from Donna's Blog you on the right track.

I have renewed an old friendship with Wishes by Jeannette Lynton, is a wonder guide for this card. The original  card was "Simple Stripe", it was a 3 ½ x 2 ½ card so I just enlarged the dimensions to a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ and this is what I came up with.

Taste of Summer Card
All products are Close To My Heart

The Taste of Summer paper & Taste of Summer bonus D-size stamp set  will only be available  until May 31, 2015 so don't miss it.  I did add White Shimmer Trim and Pixie Extra Thick Twine.  I used 3 shades of red from the  Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads-----Hollyhock, Cranberry and Ruby with a little New England Ivy.

Now hop on over to Jennifer's Blog   and thank you for hopping by and please come back often.

  9. I love your card. I especially love your fussy cut strawberries and how you paired them with the twine to use them as an embellishment.
