It's been busy and I've have had a little moments of time to preparing for the Pajama Party scheduled this Thursday Night.  I still have a few spots open. so let me know if you would like to attend.

The week for Birthdays

This has been the week for Birthday Parties at my church. Wednesday we celebrated the 75th birthday of the "energizer bunny" Lester. He is one of those people that can find the positive in every situation and has worn many hats is our little church.  So Wednesday we really  surprise with a  party.

Each year in January we have an all church birthday party, We have a covered dish dinner and tables are marked for each month and folks are encouraged to set at their table, it mixes things up a little. We are all creatures of habit.

 Most years each table is decorated in the month's theme, but this year this is how the tables were decorated. Do you see a little "Close To My Heart" there?

I have been reorganizing which has become a January tradition and with reorganizing I find many things I had forgotten about. But I bet you know what I'm talking about.

 So here is the wreath that a made. I used quit a bit of paper but still have plenty remember I said I love this paper. hehehehe.

Good morning, today is a very special day, it is the 15th birthday of the

 first born grandchild, Kaylynn.  She is such a pretty girl and a true sweetheart. 

 We had her party this weekend so I thought I would sure her picture with her cake. 

Yep, she loves, pink and animal prints, if you had not guessed. LOL

Make it from the Heart Monday

This weekend I attended a crop with a dear friend, Pam Thorn in the Dallas area. The group was awesome and looking forward to the next crop. While long story short we got home really late last night, I got up & went to church Sunday morning and rested in afternoon.  I did create several items that I will be sharing on some blog hop in the next few days.
