Make It From the Heart Monday

Well today I'm so proud of myself, I have my creation ready to go, so I'm not waiting till the last minute to get my act together.  OK today I'm playing 2, yep 2 blog challenges and very please with how my card came out. The two blogs were - Color My Heart Color Dare  for the color  and Saturday Sketch Challenge for the design.

Yes, everything is "Close To My Heart" and color I add with whisper and slate was honey, the stamp set was Honeycomb.. For embellishment I used  the little bitty black sparkle from the Sparkles Black & Grey Assortment &   grey wool twine. Thanks for stopping by. JF

Make It From The Heart Monday

Happy Labor Day to all! I'm enjoying this quite day, spent the morning with my sweet hubby, enjoying some coffee and now I'm at my place, the crafting barn.

This past Saturday I had some friends over for an open crop and create I did. Well there was some excellent food and lots of talking & laughing, too

Today many kiddos started to school and among these were my four grandkids. Yes the big yellow-fellows were out in force.

Now to my Mondays creation.  I visited Clean and Simple blog last week and like what the challenge but thought I would look at a few more before I made by my mind. So today about 4pm I had not made anything so this was something I put together in minutes. I me the hardest part is the design so visit many blogs for inspiration.

Use Your Stash Blog Hop Simple Card

Welcome to the Use Your Stash Blog Hop, for August we will be creating "Simple Cards". Now if you have come from Joy's Blog. 

This month my creation came from Clean and Simple design.  This card took me only minutes and I didn't use a sentiment. Yep, no sentiment-I'm always needing a blank card so I thought this one would be perfect. And the only stamping a did was with the back of the stamp. Now where is that "easy button"  And simple, too
